Our practice was built on a simple belief: that exceptional dentistry begins with a genuine relationship. From your first visit to a lifetime of healthy smiles, you will be looked after by a small, dedicated team of dentists who take the time to know you.
Together, our doctors bring advanced training in comprehensive, aesthetic, and implant dentistry to every patient who walks through our doors here in Princeton.
Dr. Kiersten Huckel is passionate about providing comprehensive, patient-centered dental care with a focus on whole-body health. She combines advanced clinical training with a warm, compassionate approach, ensuring that every patient feels comfortable, informed, and genuinely cared for. After practicing alongside her father, Kirk D. Huckel, D.M.D., one of New Jersey’s most respected dentists, Dr. Huckel is proud to carry forward his legacy while helping lead Princeton Center for Dental Aesthetics into its next generation.
A familiar face to many Princeton-area families, Dr. Huckel provides comprehensive general and family dentistry with an emphasis on prevention, long-term oral health, and individualized treatment plans. She believes exceptional dentistry begins by listening to each patient’s goals and developing treatment solutions tailored to their unique needs.
Committed to lifelong learning, Dr. Huckel regularly pursues advanced continuing education in implant dentistry, orthodontics, and comprehensive restorative care. She studied ceramic implant dentistry in Switzerland with Dr. Ulrich Volz, an internationally recognized leader in ceramic implantology, where she learned the latest techniques and best practices for metal-free zirconia implant treatment. She also completed advanced implant placement training with Swiss Dental Solutions in Costa Rica. In addition, Dr. Huckel completed, amongst other things, advanced training in zirconia implants and regenerative dentistry under Dr. Judson Wall in Utah, further expanding her expertise in biologic and metal-free implant dentistry.
In orthodontics, Dr. Huckel has received extensive training. She incorporates modern orthodontic techniques into her practice and enjoys helping both children and adults improve the health, function, and appearance of their smiles through braces and other orthodontic treatment options.
Outside the office, Dr. Huckel enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children. She is dedicated to building lasting relationships with her patients and helping families achieve healthy, confident smiles for years to come.
For Dr. Shanni Reine-Mutch, exceptional dentistry begins with making patients feel genuinely comfortable, understood, and cared for.
A graduate of the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, Dr. Reine-Mutch brings years of experience in general dentistry along with a strong commitment to patient-centered care. She takes pride in listening to each patient’s concerns, communicating clearly, and creating an environment where patients can feel at ease—especially those who may have experienced dental fear or anxiety.
In recent years, Dr. Reine-Mutch has devoted extensive advanced training to temporomandibular disorders (TMD), craniofacial pain, and dental sleep medicine. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine (ABDSM), a distinction that reflects advanced education and successful completion of the board’s rigorous credentialing and examination process. Her continued education has also included advanced training in TMD and dental sleep medicine, including the Dr. Steven Olmos of TMJ & Sleep Therapy Centre International approach to nonsurgical TMD care, as well as ongoing education through the Spencer Study Club. Her areas of advanced study also include regenerative medicine, platelet-rich fibrin (PRF), MLS laser therapy, and related technologies.
Just as important to Dr. Reine-Mutch as clinical expertise is the connection she builds with her patients. And while she takes their care seriously, she doesn’t believe every moment in the dental chair has to feel serious. She makes a point to bring humor and lightness to work with her every day—and patients will often hear plenty of laughter coming from her operatory.
Outside of the office, Dr. Reine-Mutch brings the same energy and enthusiasm to her personal life. She teaches fitness classes, loves baking and cooking, plays the viola, has a lifelong love of music, and most of all, enjoys spending time with her children.
