Healthy Smiles, Beautifully Maintained

Great oral health is a partnership.

Creating healthy smiles depends on daily maintenance, both at home with a toothbrush and floss, and here at our office with expert cleanings and comprehensive exams.

To help you enjoy optimal oral health, we recommend visiting us at least twice a year for a professional cleaning and a thorough evaluation. It’s the simplest, most rewarding investment you can make in your smile.

What to Expect

Your first visit, made easy.

Are you visiting the Princeton Center for Dental Aesthetics & Implants for the first time? When you arrive, you can expect a friendly greeting from our team. After a brief tour of our office, a hygienist or dental assistant will walk you back to your chair and make sure you’re settled and comfortable.

From there, we take the time to truly understand your smile. One of our dentists will perform a complete comprehensive oral examination, review your radiographs, and talk through anything that might benefit from further care, always at your pace, and always without pressure.

A Complete Picture of Your Health

What your first visit includes

Every cleaning is paired with a careful, preventive evaluation, so nothing goes unnoticed and your smile stays healthy for the long run.

Soft-Tissue Exam

Oral cancer screening

A quick soft-tissue exam and VELscope oral cancer screening let us monitor the tissues of your mouth for subtle changes, catching concerns early, when they’re most treatable.

Gum Health

Periodontal evaluation

For new and returning patients alike, our dentists carefully assess the health of your gum tissue, identify any periodontal disease, and recommend the right treatment if it’s ever needed.

Beneath the Surface

Digital X-rays

Unless you’ve had them recently, digital X-rays help us locate disease and decay the naked eye can’t see, with a full set every three to five years and bitewings taken annually.

Laser-Guided Precision

Advanced cavity detection

Our DIAGNOdent and Spectra detection aids use light-induced fluorescence to reveal early cavities in pits and fissures, over 90% accurate at finding decay while the tooth still looks intact.

Clean & Polished

Preventive cleaning

We gently clean and polish your teeth to remove plaque (the bacterial biofilm that produces cavity-causing acids) and, based on need, add sealants, fluoride treatment, or fluoride varnish.

Personalized Coaching

At-home care guidance

Your hygienist will demonstrate proper brushing and flossing and happily answer every question about cavity prevention and daily hygiene, so your at-home routine works as hard as we do.

Gentle by Design

Comfortable cleanings, modern technology.

Our hygienists use an ultrasonic scaling device that emits a controlled, high-pressure stream of water to lift plaque from your teeth. It’s faster and far more comfortable than traditional cleaning methods. You’ll notice the difference the very first time you settle into the chair.
